What You Can Expect From This Course

Researched and developed by Wilson Learning, Leading for Performance: Motivating for Results (LFP-MFR) helps managers learn how to influence motivation. When motivation is a factor, managers need to instill confidence that efforts will lead to success, success is worth having, and the effort will result in something that is of value to employees. Participants learn specific skills and tools to help them create greater value for employees on the job.

During this 1/2 day workshop, participants will focus on the following key learnings:

  • The Challenge of Motivating
  • What to Do
  • How to Do It

The Motivating for Results ½ day workshop is part of the Leading for Performance series and can be coupled with other workshops. Motivating for Resultsincludes a participant guide, various performance application exercises, reinforcement, and support tools, such as planning tools, checklists, application exercises, job aid cards and electronic reinforcement tools. These tools ensure that participants can hone newly acquired skills and behaviors upon returning to work.

After the workshop, Our Learning That Never Stops approach ensures skills learned in Motivating for Results will be transferred to day-to-day work practices with our extended learning follow-up for self-paced reinforcement.
