Lisa Fore is an experienced bookkeeper who brings over 20 years of administrative, marketing, and accounting expertise to her position here at NuVue. Lisa has worked in a wide range of industries, and her superpower is the ability to morph her diverse skills around whatever tasks her specific position requires! At NuVue, that includes recording and maintaining financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. Lisa also assists in budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management, in addition to filling in whenever needed in other roles.
Lisa’s education includes attending NC State University and UNC at Wilmington, as well as taking supplemental training in accounting fundamentals and bookkeeping. She is also very community-focused and frequently volunteers at local schools and county libraries. When she’s not wrangling paperwork at the office, you can likely find Lisa reading something from the “TBR” pile of books at her bedside (“to be read” for non-bibliophiles!) or armchair refereeing the Washington Commanders. She also loves pre-retirement hobbies like bowling, bingo, movie nights, or obsessing over her black cat. Her high-activity sports include shepherding her two red-headed kids through their teen years (she and her husband are both redheads too) and traveling several times a year to the NC mountains, where she hopes to have a vacation home someday. Lisa was born and raised in Raleigh, where locals may appreciate: She remembers when Falls of Neuse Road in North Raleigh had only one stoplight! She’s been married tor 20 years to her hubby Jason, who has worked his entire career for Food Lion, and is now a senior executive there.
Lisa enjoys working for NuVue because of their passion for helping everyone continue to learn and grow, and because of the tools and support they provide to anyone who wants to better themselves – at any stage of their career!
